Welcome to the Target Union Website! 

For too long we have ignored, and in turn accepted this country's way of business. Target's revenue has doubled within the last decade while our working conditions have only gotten worse. Our family is continually being screamed at for not doing what was once the job of multiple employees. Our aisles and backrooms are consistently flooded with merchandise on the ground, inconsistent hours, and much more contributing to an inhumane way of life. YOU are being taken advantage of.

You deserve more, more pay, more hours, and most importantly more respect. 

This union will set hard line goals which include but aren't limited too

1. Increased pay of at least $25/hour, (based on Cornell's ILR Estimate) with your received raises being adjusted by percent.

2. Guaranteed Disability Pay for those working for Target over a year, whom are suggested/encouraged/required a procedure including rest and recovery by a doctor that will improve their quality of life. 

3. Yearly Minimum Wage increase based on inflation, individually taking into account your raised rate.

4. Increased pay for work that requires more energy and body sacrifice (ex: the Inbound Truck Unloader, Fulfillment Team Members, OPU team), including any team member who substitutes or helps out such defined department for the hours worked in said department.

5. Increased focus on prioritizing people who would enjoy and take advantage of full-time positions, including overall available hours based on managements needs, separate from corporate influence.

This union is independent from the others, we will be run and be influenced by YOU. Our store houses more than 200 employees during the winter season, and much less off season. Even with our large group your impact and influence on our direction is much higher than any other democratic systems you may be apart of. Union fees are a must to keep us in a position to give YOU the service of power. The fees are only to maintain your employment safety and fought for rights. Even with the fees you will be making a much larger amount of cash only made possible by us. Our terms may seem far fetched. But that is because you have only had yourself, and with the leverage of over 100 people you can do anything. And anything and everything is what we expect when our blood sweat and time are essentially donated to the wealthy.
